I would add a three more Cs:
1. The first step, even before collection, is Curiosity. That's what sets the whole cycle in motion (and ignoring it, and assuming children must learn precisely what adults have predefined, is the bane of conventional education. Curiosity can be making sense of the world (why does iron sink, what causes this disease) or solving a problem (how can we make something from iron that floats, how can we prevent/cure this disease), and the former doesn’t have to be in the service of the latter
2. Collaboration. I think this is not so much a stage as a foundation that contributes to make every one of these steps more impactul
3. Critical thinking - like Collaboration, a foundation
