Come on — “performance at key examinations” is a farce! (maybe not quite to this level yet but would be interesting to see our data on it)
Yes, there are issues of resource allocation/availability that lead to disparities in exam results, but using results of exams (as they are currently conceptualized and executed, and it’s hard to imagine they could be executed any other way as long as they are the gateway to public university) as the benchmark to guide educational reform will lead us further away from achieving Education 4.0. Someone needs to tackle this bull by the horns.
